Tests conducted before and after
treatment show a marked improvement
in skid resistance. Retexturing will
bring the level of skid resistance up
to the designed in-service performance
level.

With the ability to mobilise at short
notice and to work uninterrupted for
many hours, Klaruw K190 Retexturing
when used to accelerate weathering
represents excellent value. The need
for lane closures is limited meaning
significantly reduced disruption and
traffic management costs.

Progress of up to 70 square metres per minute can be
achieved using three K190 machines depending on the
treatment required. Combined machine widths of 1.9
metres enables an overall treatment width of 5.7 metres.
The Klaruw K190 Retexturing process to accelerate
weathering causes minimum traffic disruption and can even
be used in a rolling closure traffic management scenario.
